Georgia's Urban AG Council is Georgia's premier organization for all sectors of the urban agriculture industry, and was formed by the merger of the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA), the Georgia Turfgrass Association (GTA) and the Georgia Sod Producers Association (GSPA) . UAC promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards and education and serves as a consumer and industry resource for residential and commercial clients. UAC works with the University of Georgia, Georgia's Cooperative Extension Service, and horticulture educators throughout the state.
